Sweet Riah is truly a creation of our family farm here in Newcastle, Ca. I have been raising dairy goats for several years now. For a long time I was making our organic goat milk soap for family, friends and the holidays. Every year the soap would start to run out and they would begin calling or emailing for more. I quickly began to make lotions, shower gels and other items- some with our goat milk and some not. Again the calling and emailing once the item was used up.
The idea for Sweet Riah really came from those calls, emails and friendly conversations. Could it be that people were really looking for truly all natural, organic, skin care products? I found that they truly were. In our industry driven society so many of the products we use on a daily basis contain a wide variety of chemicals that many people cannot tolerate. I set out to create a line of products that were as natural and organic as possible.
Why Organic? Living on a farm our family has been blessed with a direct education on how fertilizers, pesticides and other chemicals effect our land or livestock- not to mention our drinking water. Since we consume the goat milk, eggs and meat produced on our farm it is imperative that everything is considered. When we made that consideration we decided that organic practices needed to be in place here for our health and that of our neighbors, our friends and you.
